Develop a tequila brand that flies in the face of industry convention
VIVA 32 came to JWALK with an incredible tequila and a thirst to make sure the brand was presented as uniquely as the vision that fueled it. Their desire was to make premium luxury accessible to all and toast the accomplishments of young creators with a modern tequila made for and tailored to them.
JWALK thrives on playing with expectation in tired categories. Bored of the rustic Mexican heritage story relied heavily upon by other tequilas, we decided to shirk any relation to agave fields and build our strategy around a stunning, clean bottle design, unlike any other on the market. Drawing inspiration from modern architecture and the brand’s dedication to honesty and quality (disclosing their price breakdown is part of the strategy), we created a rounded rectangular bottle with an ownable triangle pattern that permeates every facet of the brand.
Our team worked to develop a 360-go-to-market plan, as well as a brand identity that set the visual and tonal direction of the company. Distilling the company’s passion for modernity into a tactile vision led us to building the brand as an homage to the new creative class who obsess how to evolve what has come before. A little bit provocative, a lot aesthetically pleasing, we made VIVA 32 a destination for the movers and shakers who care about transparency and authenticity.
As VIVA 32 begins their rollout, they’re poised to make a big splash. The bottle design has already caught the eye of Graphic Design USA and their unique website has set the stage for the brand to be a hub of culture, instead of just another tequila company.
