Drive brand awareness through an integrated and innovative social strategy
Charming Charlie was one of the fastest growing accessory retailers in the United States, but lacked a true identity and had low brand awareness. With a new e-commerce site on the horizon, JWALK was tasked with developing a social strategy to increase reach and awareness in order to gain qualified traffic.
JWALK leveraged unique approaches to media, digital, and social platforms to position charming charlie as the country’s foremost accessory fashion authority. Utilizing our relationship with Lucky Magazine, we developed integrated campaigns ‘Find Your Fabulous’ and ‘Get Your Sparkle On’ to create clout for the brand within the fashion community and ultimately grab consumers’ attention. Additionally, through a series of UGC activations, gamification, and influencer partnerships we incentivized and rewarded our consumers for engaging with the brand and were able to create social buzz, which drove qualified traffic online.
Within 18 months we helped grow the social fan base exponentially, seeing increases of 25% growth per quarter. This increased their social reach from 250,000 to over 1MM. 14 months later, Facebook accounted for more than 15% of the total online sales each month, just in time for the e-commerce launch.
