Develop and grow long term consumer relationships while increasing brand awareness. Sales were flat but with a site redesign planned, Alternative Apparel wanted to find a cost-effective, short-term way of increasing sales with their existing site on a limited budget.
An unsigned interactive artist competition that focused on music while incorporating art, design and fashion. Participants were asked to submit a cover of Aqualung’s “Brighter Than Sunshine.” Consumers were exposed to campaign content on focus social channels and ultimately driven to brand website to watch, listen and vote. Grand prize was a feature in an upcoming Alternative Apparel advertising campaign along with cash and career guidance from industry insiders. Alongside the marketing campaign, we also conducted analysis which uncovered a number of opportunities to improve the site design and configuration, boosting conversion and overall performance throughout the site.
Consumers spent an average of 11.7 minutes on the brand website. 32% increase in sales. Our recommended changes to the shopping cart also resulted in an 18.9% decrease in people exiting before purchase. An impactful b2c campaign that garnered the brand recognition as they prepared to move into consumer retail.
