With our social team on hand, we captured some of the greatest moments of the pool party in Indio, CA. Playing off the invention of the first tennis ball launcher by Rene´ Lacoste, we helped to ideate a paintball machine to launch paint-covered tennis balls at LACOSTE's Polo Gigante. We also brought our friends, Bosco, to the party where the cool kids congregated, making epic gifs. We also brought a bunch of our blogger friends like Leandra, Jules, Liz, Aimee, Danielle and more cool cats. Flower crowns from Cult Gaia were definitely their calling. We brought along Sin Thirst Sin, who served the parched line queue outside the party and the beauties inside the party. Sin was a major hit, boosting energy while the pretty people partied in the sun.
Hard work pays off however. But the desert has those secrets now.
Were you at Coachella? (Phoenix + R.Kelly were pretty much the most epic moment)
Last weekend, LACOSTE worked with RJW to curate an immersive experience for a select group of fashion editors, celebrating the launch of the new Andy Roddick collection.
Roddick kicked off the weekend's festivities with a tennis clinic for the editors at the Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club. Cheered on by Roddick's wife, actress Brooklyn Decker, the group donned head-to-toe white LACOSTE tennis gear for their clinic with the top-seeded American tennis player.
After freshening up in hotels rooms that had been outfitted with new towels and sheets from the LACOSTE Home Collection, the group enjoyed a dinner a Nobu at Capri, where they were still taking wagers on who could return Roddick's serve.
The following day took a relaxing turn with a trip to the beach and dancing at the Hamptons hotspot SL East. Everyone had an amazing time, and we were glad to host such a great group for our LACOSTE tennis weekend. Thanks again to all our editors!
Last night, RJW Collective's CEO Doug Jacob celebrated the arrival of Lacoste's new creative director Felipe Oliveira Baptista with a 50-person private dinner held at the Lacoste 5th Avenue store in New York City.
Photographer David Prutting snapped this shot of Doug with Jose Luis Duran, Global CEO of Lacoste.
Lacoste L!VE is very much, well, alive. The first EVER Lacoste L!VE store has opened up in SOHO at 134 Prince Street. To kick off the opening of the store street teams will be handing out 3,000 red rubber crocodiles from 9.17-9.19. These crocs are not to be played with, tortured, or thrown out to sea, but rather to be returned to the SOHO store for a handsome reward. Keep your eyes peeled for the crocs...you never know what could be in store for you (pun intended).
Wednesday night we produced the Lacoste L!VE party at Rose bar, in Gramercy. It was a great night complete with a private performance form Sleigh Bells. Deleón Tequila was being served, which loosened us up for the night. All in All it was a GREAT turnout. Pen Badgley, Jeremy Piven, and DJ Cassidy were all in attendance. Check out some of our pictures below.
It was a night of adrenaline, sportsmanship, through the leg conquers, and victory dances as Roger Federer and Venus Williams ended the night victorious! Emilie and Sarah, two members of our team, were invited to join Lacoste in their luxury suite to enjoy a spectacular night of exciting tennis, and stylish company... what more could you ask for?! Sipping on wine and snacking on cookies (shaped like tennis balls), this night served as a reminder of why we love summer so much.
Today is the day the US Open swings into full gear. The players have been training, warming up, and are now competing for a prestigious title. We're not going to hint at our favorite contenders, but rest assured we plan on watching as much as we can. It's the perfect compliment to the remaining bits of summer 2010's glorious weather.
