Down Under the BQE (Dubuque)

On Friday, I was privileged enough to stop by Dubuque, a brand new burger joint in Carroll Gardens for a late night bite with some great friends. If you were lucky enough to eat at Red Cafe in Park Slope when it was around you'll probably be interested in making the short trip. Chef-owner Mark Shenk offers up traditional American classics done to PERFECTION. We started off with the Calamari with Anchovy Mayo and could have ended the meal then and there it was so delicious. I even broke from the reigns of my normal pescetarian ways and ordered up the Beef Burger Stuffed with Truffled Mushroom Duxelle. It was truly the best burger I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The entire experience was just wonderful.
