Furniture designers are downright cool. While most of us see furniture as just something to sit on (or at best, something to match the color scheme of a room), furniture designers are constantly re-imagining everyday objects as something fantastic. Take a look at this awesomeness:

I believe it was Gertrude Stein who said, "A couch is a couch is a couch is a couch" (right?), but this couch is not just another couch. Designer Daisuke Motogi has created this concept called "Lost in Sofa", which embraces the idea of losing objects in the cracks of your furniture. You can stuff magazines, a remote control, your cellphone, and other small objects into the tight cracks of the furniture, and they will never be lost again.

Now just imagine how much change could be scrounged from between the cracks...
